Overview
This article explains the locator's logic regarding how many locations it will show when using state in the Address field.
Information
Depending on the number of locations returned the proximity search logic fixates on a search radius starting from 50 miles and expands it further out if it does not find locations with the given search parameters.
Once the radius is fixed, locations outside of the radius are not returned in the search. Hence it is advisable to search locations by zip code or street address instead of state/city for validation.
