Overview
Users are unable to launch PivotalClient due to the UX Client metadata error (see the below stack trace) after a system is restored from a previous version to a higher platform version:

Environment
Pivotal Client 6.5.3.1
Root Cause
An incomplete upgrade is causing the error.
Resolution
- Restore Pivotal Toolkit 6.5.3.1 RDF to the customization system's Business Module (BM).
- Perform an ACC (Apply Customization Changes).
- Open Pivotal Toolkit for the customization system so that the BM upgrade can complete. The new .rdf file can be found on the installation package in the path:\TK6.5.3HF1\Customization Modules
- Accept the Upgrade Business Module option.
- Reboot the Business Server and when ready, reopen it.
Validation
Once the upgrade is completed, the error message no longer appears.
